MGayle Outdoor Adventures, LLC, ("MGOA," "we") operates mgoa.dev. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
9. U.S. operations. The Services are operated in the United States and information is processed here.
1. Information we collect
You give us: your email address and name (if provided); Scorecard answers and results; scenario choices and scores; and messages, including team-licensing inquiries. We collect automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and similar usage data, using cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. Scorecard answers describe fitness and tolerance to conditions such as cold. We use them only to produce your results and improve the Services; we do not sell them or use them for advertising. We do not intentionally collect government IDs, financial account numbers, precise location, or medical records. Please do not submit them.
2. How we use it
To deliver results and roadmaps; save your progress; show your analytics; respond to you; send results and, with your consent, MGOA updates; secure, maintain, and improve the Services; and comply with law.
3. How we share it
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it with service providers that process it for us under contract (Squarespace, Lovable and Google Workspace); to comply with law or protect rights and safety; in a merger or sale; or at your direction. We may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you.
4. Cookies
We use essential storage to run the site and remember your progress[, and analytics to understand usage]. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals; we treat Global Privacy Control signals as opt-outs where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep information as long as needed for these purposes ([RETENTION PERIOD]), then delete or de-identify it, unless law requires longer.
6. Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe using the link in any email. To request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information, email privacy@mgoa.dev. Depending on where you live (for example California, Minnesota, or Washington), you may have additional rights, including to appeal a decision. We will respond within 45 days, extendable as the law allows, and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. We will notify you of a breach as required by law.
8. Children
The Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors; contact us to have it deleted.
10. Third-party links
We are not responsible for others' privacy practices.
11. Changes
We will post the updated date and, for material changes, notify you by email or notice on the site.
