The setup

You're leading a group of three kayakers through a committing gorge. No walk-out for two miles either way. The lead paddler mis-lines the crux drop and swims. Their boat pins against a rock in the middle of the current.

Score multipliers rise with your accuracy. The decision window tightens after every recommended call and widens after every miss. Miss the window and the step scores zero.
